The cemetery covers an area of 2.18 million square meters. Based on the terracotta warriors and horses of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty, the museum is a relic museum built on the original site of the terracotta warriors and horses pit. It is also the largest ancient military museum in China. There are three terracotta warriors and horses pits No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 in the terracotta warriors and Horses Museum of Qin Shihuang. Pit No. 1 is a main army array with chariots and infantry. It covers a total area of 14260 square meters and has about 6000 life size terracotta figures. Pit No. two is the essence of the terracotta pits. The area is 6000 square meters, consisting of four units. The four squares are mixed up by chariots, cavalry and crossbows. Pit 3 is the command system of the military array, covering an area of 524 square meters. |
